Gransil AM-8 Gel

Gransil AM-8 Gel is an alkyl modified silicone gel with increased organic oil compatibility for color make-up and skin care formulas. Gransil AM-8 Gel is made by using our silicone chemistry technology to crosslink alkyl modified silicone in the presence of caprylyl methicone fluid (see the structure below) and pass through a high-shear milling process. Gransil AM-8 Gel is distinguished from other silicone gels for its outstanding compatibility with organic materials such as waxes and oils due to the presence of high level of alkyl groups in the molecular structures. Gransil AM-8 Gel offers a unique dispersing ability for oils and pigments. Gransil AM-8 Gel performs as soft-powder that provides an excellent fresh, silky and non-tacky feel. In addition, Gransil AM-8G provides a light, matte, pleasant lipophilic layer that retains skin moisture and allows skin to breathe through silicone film. Gransil AM-8G is a superb ingredient for a variety of skin care and color makeup formulas and recommended to be used at a level of 2-20%.
