Gransil ORB-III-5CS

Gransil ORB-III 5cs is our third generation silicone gel base that can be readily transformed into an outstanding cream or lotion by mixing directly with water and actives. It is free from cyclic silicones for those desiring an alternative choice.

The Gransil ORB-III series represents a unique blend system that is the first of it's type to deliver a luxurious feel, powerful light diffusing and outstanding moisturizing effects and a skin protecting lipid barrier. Gransil ORB-III-5CS contains a carefully balanced blend of silicone elastomer, silicone resin powder, patented hybrid silicone composite powder and amphiphilic (surfactant-like) fatty waxes that promote the formation of a lamellar lipid barrier. The powder ingredients used are of spherical shape with average particle sizes of 4-15 microns, having excellent "optical blurring" and ball bearing effects that lead to increased payoff and a slippery feel. Gransil ORB-III-5CS is designed as a formula base for a thixotropic, high viscosity cream with an elegant texture, which gives a shine-free look and powdery feel upon application.

The usage level is suggested between 30-40 wt%. Gransil ORB-III-5CS is capable of carrying various active ingredients and has a stable rheology and temperature tolerance.
