Gransil ORB-III

Gransil ORB-III is a third version of our "Optical Refinisher Base", a special silicone gel base that can be readily transformed into an outstanding cream or lotion by mixing directly with water and actives. Gransil ORB-III represents a unique blend system that is the first of it's type to deliver a luxurious feel, powerful light diffusing and outstanding moisturizing effects and a skin protecting lipid barrier. Gransil ORB-III contains a carefully balanced blend of silicone elastomer, silicone resin powder, patent pending hybrid silicone composite powder and amphiphilic (surfactant-like) fatty waxes that promote the formation of a lamellar lipid barrier. The powder ingredients used are of spherical shape with average particle sizes of 4-15 microns, having excellent "optical blurring" and ball bearing effects that lead to increased payoff and a slippery feel. Gransil ORB-III is designed as a formula base for a thixotropic, high viscosity cream with an elegant texture, which gives a shine-free look and powdery feel upon application. The usage level is suggested between 30-40 wt%. Gransil ORB-III is capable of carrying various active ingredients and has a stable rheology and temperature tolerance.
