Gransil OW

Gransil OW is a self-emulsifiable silicone gel containing built-in emulsifiers and polymeric thickeners. Gransil OW is developed to meet the increased market demand for easy-to-use materials that considerably reduce the formulation and production process. Gransil OW can be readily transformed into an oil-in-water cream or lotion by mixing directly with water, oils and actives. The outstanding benefits include:

Formulating Advice

The recommended formula concentrations for water and oils are:

Gransil OW: 25-40%; water: 20-60%; oils: 10-20%. The viscosity will depend on the oil compatibility with the silicone gel and the ratio of water-to-oils used. The water will generally reduce the viscosity.
