Gransil WO is a self-emulsifiable silicone gel containing built-in polymeric dimethicone copolyols as emulsifiers. Gransil WO was developed to meet the increased market demand for easy-to-use materials that considerably reduce the formulation and production process. Gransil WO can be readily transformed into a water-in-oil cream or lotion by mixing directly with water, oils and actives. The outstanding benefits include:
- Excellent unique silky, soft powdery feel
- Non oily look and tacky feel of W/O formulas
- Excellent water-resistance properties
- Usable in preservative-free formulas for sensitive skin or eye areas

Eye Cream - Demo Formula for Gransil WO
The recommended concentrations for water and oils are:
Gransil WO: 30-40%; water: 20-50%; oils: 10-20%. The viscosity will depend on the oil compatibility with the silicone gel and the ratio of water-to-oils used. Typically, the addition of water will increase the viscosity of the final formula while oils will decrease the viscosity.
