Gransil PSQ-W
Gransil PSQ-W is a wet powder of polymethylsilsesquioxane having a spherical shape and an average particle size of 5 microns. The unique characteristic of Gransil PSQ-W is the excellent water dispersbility, which is useful for water-based formulations such as aqueous lotions, gels, creams, hair sprays and other applications with an aqueous component. Gransil PSQ-W renders a soft, powdery feel, and is an effective anti-tacky agent for some liquid ingredients such as glycerin and glycols, and an agent of light diffusing for wrinkle correction. Due to its lower specific gravity, Gransil PSQ-W should be suspended in an aqueous formula with moderate viscosity, resulting in an opaque appearance.
