The illustrative technical chart below is a complete overview of how the products are inter-related and why aesthetic properties are connected to polymer chemistry
| PSQ TECHNOLOGY | INTERPENETRATING HYBRID TECHNOLOGY | POLYSILICONE-11 |
|
Products on the left-hand side of the chart are based on polymethylsilsequioxane, a non-absorbing, dry, glossy powder with a discrete particle-size distribution for soft focus effects. Many chemists use a bit of Gransil PSQ in their formulas with our elastomer gels to provide a "cream-to-powder finish". Our creative team even added real platinum, gold and diamond for a little bling to certain products. Check out PSQ-W which is hydrated with water for better compatibility and novel rheology. |
Products in the middle of the chart use our patented interpenetrating polymer technology to make powders with hybridized properties. For instance, Gransil EPSQ is so interesting and spongy, it makes a great textured mousse foundation or blush, wax to form Gransil ECW. Because of it's unique chemistry, LSQ provides an "open" pathway towards dry finishes, compared to regular polymethylsilsequioxanes. The Gransil Slip series uses the interpenetrating polymers in blended form to provide the best range of properties and value in formulating creams or powdered make-ups. |
Products on the right hand side are based on a powdered, readily dispersible form our polysilicone-11 elastomer for oil thickening, matte finishing and oil absorbing properties to give a wetter, more cushioned feel to the final formula. For instance, Gransil EP-LS is a value oriented 100% polysilicone-11 product available to formulators the world over. We even make a version infused with pure 24 carat gold! |

Products in the lower right corner reflect the finest non-silicone micronized powders in the world, including a special micronized diamond. |
