Gransil 516
Gransil 516 is a silicone blend of greater than 15% of a super-high viscosity dimethiconol silicone with cyclopentasiloxane. It is a slightly higher viscosity than other competitive products and is tightly controlled around 10,000 cps. It is designed to meet a unique sensory requirement for hair care applications where other products fall short. Gransil 516 provides an exceptionally silky feel and prolonged substantivity, and leaves a soft film on skin to protect the skin moisture. When combined with oils, Gransil 516 effectively eliminates disfavored tacky feel. The recommended usage level is 1–10% for general skin-care, hair-care and makeup formulations.
