GRANTHIX APP

Granthix APP is a polymer thickener and stabilizing agent designed for use in oil/silicone/water emulsions. Granthix APP forms an instant gel upon mixing with water without the need of pre-dissolving or neutralization. As a thickener, Granthix APP can be added into a formula at any stage during processing. The most distinctive advantages over other types of thickeners are the excellent stability and compatibility such as:

The thickening/emulsifying power is effective over a pH range of 3-10 so that the emulsions formed using Granthix APP can carry acid active ingredients
The viscosity of the emulsions is stable to wide temperature fluctuations
Granthix APP is compatible with solvents and most other thickeners

The use of 0.5-3.0% will be sufficient for most formulas.
