GRANTHIX APP
Granthix APP is a polymer thickener and stabilizing agent designed for use in oil/silicone/water emulsions. Granthix APP forms an instant gel upon mixing with water without the need of pre-dissolving or neutralization. As a thickener, Granthix APP can be added into a formula at any stage during processing. The most distinctive advantages over other types of thickeners are the excellent stability and compatibility such as:
- The thickening/emulsifying power is effective over a pH range of 3-10 so that the emulsions formed using Granthix APP can carry acid active ingredients
- The viscosity of the emulsions is stable to wide temperature fluctuations
- Granthix APP is compatible with solvents and most other thickeners
The use of 0.5-3.0% will be sufficient for most formulas.
