GranDerm Silk Peptide
GranDerm Silk Peptide is an aqueous silk peptide complex with polymeric moisturizers of glyceryl polyacrylate and poly(vinylmethylether/maleic anhydride) (PVM/MA) featuring a super power of water retention and lubricious function on skin and hair with silk peptide film interconnected by polymeric network. The silk peptide of molecular weight between 1000-3000 is produced from natural silk fibroin after separating sericin protein from it and is a natural moisturizer consisting of 18 amino acids essential to human body and can be absorbed into the skin to keep rich moisture and increase the shine and elasticity, and control the growth of melanin. For hair-care applications, silk peptide exhibits a great absorbency duo to its alike chemical structure and has a very special protective function, i.e., it forms a transparent film effectively preventing alkaline damage and improving natural shine, flexibility and softness.
