Granhydrogel GA
Granhydrogel GA is a non-drying hydrate or clathrate gel of glyceryl polyacrylate and characterized by the high power of water retention. Granhydrogel GA does not dry when exposed to air for months or even subjected to vacuum for days. The clathrate, or lattice structure, holds water tightly through hydrogen bonding and vander Waal interactions. Granhydrogel GA is a superb moisturizer and particularly useful for applications in transparent formulas.
This ingredient can be salt sensitive in some formulas, so it is preferentially used in non-ionic systems.
