Granacrysil BMAS
Granacrysil BMAS is a 40% solution of a copolymer of isobutylmethacrylate and silicone-grafted acrylate in isoparaffin. This solution dries quickly on the skin to form an excellent clear, glossy film that is flexible and breathable. The film exhibits outstanding adhesion and water-repellency and can be removed by the use of cyclomethicone, alcohol or mineral spirits. The solution is compatible with a variety of cosmetic materials including cyclomethicone, dimethicone, hydrocarbon fluids, mineral oils, esters and fatty oils/waxes. Granacrysil BMAS is an ideal film-former for color makeup products such as foundations, lipsticks, mascaras, eyeshadows, concealers and blushes, providing a superior long lasting, transfer-resistant property. The usage level is recommended to be 20 - 50%, preferably, 40-50% for the best transfer resistant results. An auxiliary product, a cleansing remover, formulated with isoparaffins or cyclomethicones may be needed to remove the color film.
