Gransurf 155

Gransurf 155 is an alkyl modified silicone copolyol sulfosuccinate serving primarily as a sebum control surfactant with a low irritation index.

A search of cosmetic labels reveals silicone copolyol sulfosuccinates are used as a mild scrub/surfactant ingredient in several prominent anti-acne treatment products. Gransurf 155 offers similar chemistry, but with the addition of a pendant fatty alkyl group in the surfactant to clear away more sebum.
