Gransurf NR-WO
Gransurf NR-WO is a W/O silicone emulsifier with self-thickening ability and can be easily used to make water-in-silicone (W/S) or water-in-oil (W/O) formulations without a high shearing process. Gransurf NR-WO is a highly effective emulsifier for a variety of oils such as silicone gel, silicone oil, plant oil and ester oil. It is ideally suited for incorporation into elegant skin care products, where it provides a silky feeling, a gloss appearance and the properties of moisturizing, conditioning and wetting. Other applications include emulsion stabilizers for creams and lotions and as emollients in aqueous-alcoholic toners. Water-in-silicone emulsions using this technology are typically found in antiperspirant, facial washes, skin-care and color-cosmetic formulations. Oil-in-water emulsion applications are almost too numerous to mention, but they can also have a silicone fluid as part of the "mixed" oil phase.
