UV Cut TiO2-41
UV Cut TiO2-41 is a 40% dispersion of surface-treated titanium dioxide having a particle size of 0.27μm in cyclopentasiloxane. UV Cut TiO2-41 features a unique compatibility with silicone elastomer gels and a very light, smooth feel. UV Cut TiO2-41 offers both UVA (320 - 400 nm) and UVB (280 - 320 nm) protection with a transparent look and water-resistant property. Compared to chemical sunscreen agents, UV Cut TiO2-41 is very photo stable, and does not irritate the skin so that it is an ideal physical sun blocker for sensitive skin.
The combination of UV Cut TiO2-41 with UV Cut ZnO-50 supports the formulating trend of using only "non-chemical" sun filters in products providing broad UV protection spectrum and high SPF protection. For those wishing to combine physical and chemical sun-filters, our dispersions are compatible with many other organic sun-filters.
