UV Cut ZnO-50-W
UV Cut ZnO-50-W is a 50% dispersion of ultrafine ZnO in water suitable for use in o/w type emulsions where a large amount of water is required in the outer phase to offer a light, cooling feel. Such o/w emulsions are of particular interest for daily-wear with sun shielding function due to the characteristics of being less oily and very breathable for skin. UV Cut ZnO-50-W has high transparency on skin, and excellent photo-stability and provides most efficient UVA protection in addition to UVB shielding effect. Estimated SPF value = 0.7-1.5 for each point in a formula on the basis of 100 points. PA+++ is achievable at about 35% use level.
