Barrier Cream for Hair Coloring
A water-in-oil barrier cream for preventing unwanted hair dye color from soaking into the skin surrounding the hair dye area. Can be put on the forehead, ears and back of neck prior to dyeing hair and then rubbed in or wiped off after the dye operation is completed. Gransil DMG-20P is a non-volatile silicone elastomer gel with dimethicone fluid and petrolatum that together act as the primary barrier. In addition, the oil phase of this emulsion is external and protects the skin from aqueous dye penetration better than oil-in water preparations.
