Gransil SiW Series

Grant Industries announces the launch of the Gransil SiW Series, the next progression of Silicone-in-Water (SiW) performance dispersions developed for modern beauty care products. As described by Thomas Hrubec, Director of R&D at Grant, "We systematically used a minimalist approach and developed a proprietary process that does away with the sensory drawbacks associated with traditional emulsifier-based silicone concentrates. This comprehensive series of products is designed for application in skin care, sun care, color cosmetics and hair care. They are all water misible and provide energy savings when used in a cold process, although heat is acceptable if the formula requires it. This allows mixing silicones and actives in creative ways that present a new cosmetic palette of textures and formulation attributes. The featured Gransil SiW products for skin and cosmetics will dramatically enhance the sensory perception during payout and play of the beauty care product. The final product transitions to a sophisticated, powdery feel, with a soft-focus appearance, which enables a brand to stand out from the competition".
