Gransil PSQ, Polymethylsilsesquioxane 
Gransil PSQ is a spherical silicone resin powder suitable for a
wide variety of personal care/cosmetic applications. Compatible with
all matrices, Gransil
PSQ provides superior lubricity, enhances
water-repellency, anti-caking, and surface slip. It also improves light
diffusion, wrinkle correction, and powder after-feel. Recommended
usages include 2-20% for powder products and 4-10%
for treatment/color products.

Hydrated PSQ, Gransil PSQ-W
Specifically designed for water-based formulations, such
as aqueous lotions, gels, creams, and hair products, Gransil PSQ-W is a water-dispersible version of our Gransil PSQ.
Gransil
PSQ-W offers a soft powdery feel, and is an
effective detackifying agent for glycerin and glycols. Due to
its low specific gravity, Gransil
PSQ-W can also be suspended in an aqueous
formula with moderate viscosity. Can be used at as low as 2%.

An ideal component for use in color cosmetics, creams,
lotions, sun care, and other personal care applications primarily aimed
at the upscale naturals market. Solvent volatility similar to
cyclopentasiloxane.
